The kick-off meeting of the EMEA Erasmus+ project, 9th-10th December 2024 in Riga, Latvia, has ended. The national teams will start preparing everything to develop the proposed outputs, according to the updated to-do list. Certificates were awarded. The next meeting will be the LTT in Kocaeli, Turkyie, in March 2025.

The first Learning, Teaching, and Training Activity (LTT) of the Erasmus+ project Empowering Mathematics Education for All (EMEA) was successfully held in Kocaeli, Türkiye, hosted by the Creative Thinking and Education Association (CTA).

EMEA Dissemination Event after LTT organised by Kreatif Dusunce ve Egitim Dernegi was released . In the process were actively involved educators, pre-primary and primary teachers, parents, SEN teachers and organisations. The presentation was made by SEN Teacher Ugur Bozkurt . During the event, the different methodologies of teaching Maths to the students with LD were presented.

During the International teacher training in Carboneras, Spain, the project EMEA was presented to teachers from Spain, Romania and Turkiye. Teachers shared that in their schools also there are many children who find Math difficult and they would be glad to learn more about the alternative ways the Math can be taught in order to make it easier and more attractive for students.

The project EMEA, its ideas and objectives, as well as the expected results were presented to a group of primary school teachers who took part in a teacher training dedicated to the early identification of learning difficulties. Many participants expressed their interest in the topic and wish to be kept informed about the project progress.

A short conference was held at Sarayköy Anatolian High School on the Romanian education system and the use of digital tools in teaching, within the scope of Erasmus+ activities. During the event, a presentation was made about our ongoing EMEA Erasmus+ project, highlighting its goals, activities, and inclusive teaching approaches in mathematics.
